From everything geeky to downright eerie

Fairy Tail Anime This Fall

Posted by FuyuKaze on June 28, 2009

Fairy Tail… anime adaptation? I so can not wait! Word has been going around the net that the manga will finally get an anime adaptation…

After browsing through ANN, I have found that Fairy Tail will be going through an anime adaptation this fall. Producers? Well, it will be A-1 Pictures and Satelight – producers of Kuroshitsuji/Valkyria Chronicles and Macross Frontier/Hellsing OAV respectively.

For those who do not know of Fairy Tail, it is done by Hiro Mashima and not by the same author that did One Piece – Oda Eichiiro – for those who make the mistake. Hiro Mashima is also the author of Rave Master – Groove Adventure Rave – for those who did not know.

So taking from Wikipedia:

A young sorceress, Lucy Heartfilia, travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical Fairy Tail Guild. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragneel, a teenage boy looking for a dragon named Igneel. Shortly after their meeting, Lucy is abducted by Bora of Prominence, who was posing as Salamander of Fairy Tail, to be sold as a slave. Natsu rescues her and reveals that he is the real Salamander and has the skills of a Dragon Slayer. He offers her membership into the guild, which she accepts, and they become a team performing various missions for the Fairy Tail guild.

To the readers of Fairy Tail, what are your comments on this manga getting an anime adaptation? I honestly can not wait to see how the two producers pull this off and I can not wait to see some good old Fairy Tail action!A-1
