From everything geeky to downright eerie

Avatar – Live Action

Posted by FuyuKaze on June 16, 2009

I am sure some of you already are aware of Avater becoming a live action. Some others, may not, but look no further as I have some stuff to show you! On a side note, yes it is rather old news considering it was released around May 25th 2009 by USAToday

So, who will be the director? Well, Shyamalan, the visionary creator of The Sixth Sense, Signs and the upcoming The Happening, will direct and produce Avatar.

If you have not watched Avatar yet, I rather recommend it, though I did not really like how it ended. No matter, for those who have not here is a bit of information on it. First off, the setting is in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations – water, earth, air and fire (also known as the four elements)

The Fire Nation is waging a ruthless, oppressive war against the other three nations. The film’s hero, the reluctant young Aang, is the “Last Airbender” — the Avatar who, according to prophecy, has the ability to manipulate all of the elements and bring all the nations together. Aided by a protective teenage Waterbender named Katara and her bull-headed brother Sokka, Aang proceeds on a perilous journey to restore balance to their war-torn world.

You can keep being updated with whatever is going on till the movie’s release on Independence week of 2010, more specifically July 2 2010, at lastairbenderfilm
